Before you send me any angry emails: Yes, I know, I know, gum is no good for dogs. And I usually don't give gum to my dogs. My dogs just always went nuts when they saw me chew gum. They always tried to get it out of my mouth, so I decided to see just this once what would happen if I'd actually let them get it.

My dogs love, love, loooove to go swimming. If they see a puddle of water, they run over and start to roll in it. If they see the ocean or a lake, there's no stopping them.

Have you ever watched Lassie? I was wondering if my dog Cody would do what Lassie does when Timmy falls in a well. So I made Debbie hide in a box and waited to see if Cody would rescue her.

I went on a trip to Yosemite Park. It's very close to the California-Nevada state line, and just a few flight time minutes from Area 51. In the evening, on my way out of the park, I was driving down a winding road, when I saw a small ball of light high up in the sky, with a large halo of light surrounding it, and a long twirled trail behind it.
